Kylie Cosmetics: Weather Collection Review
Who got their hands on the new Kylie cosmetics collection? The whole collection retailed for $280 so you know I got my hands on only 2 products because I have bills and responsibilities but still had to purchase something for the culture. What caught my eye the most was the eye of the storm palette and the glitter eyes duo. I paired both products together to create the look below and get a better feel on the products.
I am a fan of Kylie cosmetics her products are unique and eye catching she is very consistent with the packaging and as a makeup lover thats always a plus. The shadows are pigmented and vibrant my only wish is that the palette had more transition shades. For this look I used 'Thunderstruck' on the crease which is a cool matte grey with blue undertones shadow. The shadow blended really nice and is buildable. On the lid I used 'superstar' a silver glitter with multicolor glitters. The glitter went on very smooth once it dried I did see some separation but I added another layer to even everything out. On the inner tear dock I used 'lightyear' a bright yellow which was extremely vibrant and pigmented, loved it!
My dislikes for the products is how small the palette is, for $40 I expected much more. Anastasia beverly hills palettes retail for $42 and you get your moneys worth, the palette being twice the size of the Kylie one. That's really my only complain. If you are a makeup enthusiast go for it but if you are just starting of in makeup and looking for products you'll get use of everyday this might not be the collection for you.
